JHU Lead Poisoning Book

The Johns Hopkins Environmental Justice Partnership needed an effective and creative way to disseminate scientific data and information on lead poisoning to an at-risk East Baltimore population. My partner and I worked with an illustrator to produce a story book that informs children of the dangers of lead poisoning and what they can do to prevent it. A color version of the book will be a part of the permanent collection of the Community Center in East Baltimore, and black and white copies of the book will be available to families during awareness events.
